EMDR Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a treatment modality that processes emotionally charged experiences. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation, such as rapid eye movements or tapping, to help clients work through unprocessed memories and feelings. It has shown to be an effective treatment for various presenting concerns, including trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, phobias, grief and loss, addiction, and low self-esteem.
Marriage and Family Services
While managing our internal thoughts and emotions is a primary focus in adult life, our relationships often define the quality of our lives. Relationships with our significant other, children, parents and siblings, and even friends can all add to or detract from our quality of life. Marriage and Family therapy services at Spectrum focus on identifying specific challenges interfering with relationships or quality of life and addressing those conditions through proven psychotherapeutic methods.
Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
The IOP offers a continuity of care for adult patients, 18 and older, who are transitioning from a higher level of care, as well as adult patients who could benefit from the regular, intense group programming in a non-residential environment. IOP is group therapy designed to help you understand the development of your eating disorder, as well as challenge the thoughts and behaviors that maintain your eating disorder.
